Teatro Esperanza is an ensemble based theater group formed by the children and parents of the New Brunswick Esperanza Neighborhood. Teatro Esperanza’s first showcase will be debuting new performances in response to the experiences and conditions of housing in their community. Through dance, poetry and original scene work, this intergenerational company reflects on their journey to a better life and asks the question, what defines a home. 

This is a one time only performance that will feature Carolina Moratti, Abraham Moratti, Floribel Cruz Hernandez, Steven Cruz Hernandez, Ricarda Morales, Adriana Morales, Cecilia Morales, Caroline Camacho and Brigitte Camacho. Our performance will be socially distant, include a walk around the park, and audience interaction.

A través de la danza, la poesía y el trabajo de escena original, esta compañía intergeneracional reflexiona sobre su viaje hacia una vida mejor y se hace la pregunta, ¿qué define un hogar?
