ALIVE: SONGS BY LIVING ARTISTS, a benefit for coLAB Arts

Saturday, March 19 at 5pm

First Reformed Church, 9 Bayard Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901

Vocalis Consort presents Alive: Songs by Living Artists, a concert benefiting coLAB Arts on Saturday, March 19 at 5:00pm at the First Reformed Church of New Brunswick. Vocalis members Elise Brancheau, Bridgette Gan, Scott Johnson, Martin Néron, and Christopher Sierra perform songs tied together by one common theme: they were written and/or arranged by living artists. In an industry where it is all too common to find concerts featuring only works by long-dead composers, Vocalis seeks to celebrate the musical contributions of living artists, as well as to embrace music that spans multiple genres, from classical art songs, to new takes on traditional Quechua folk songs, to hip-hop, and beyond.

A light reception will follow the concert. All guests must present proof of COVID-19 vaccination, and masks must be worn at all times except when eating or drinking. Tickets are $50, or $25 to view the concert via livestream.

For those who purchase streaming tickets, links will be emailed one hour prior to the performance.
