The year is 1905. A young, single African American seamstress is supporting herself by creating exquisite lingerie for wealthy Manhattan clients. When a letter arrives from a stranger, it awakens a desire within her that leads to the love she yearned for, but is nothing like she expected. It is a deeply moving tale of one woman’s discovery of her own empowerment.

Date of Event: Saturday, May 13 (12:45pm – 6:45pm) (Drop off/Pick location Barnes and Noble Bookstore, 100 Somerset Street, New Brunswick. Participants must arrive on time so we don’t miss our train!!            
Locations:  McCarter Theater, Princeton NJ                                 
Cost: $5 for ticket and lunch + $10 for Train Ticket = $15 Total
