TrueSelves: A New Gender Play is an original play based on oral histories of the New Jersey transgender community, created by coLAB Arts in partnership with the Pride Center of New Jersey. Interviews were conducted over a two-year period, culminating in a new devised theater piece directed by John P. Keller that includes interview transcripts, original material, movement, and music. The event is presented with support from Who Is My Neighbor?, LLC.  Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders through a grant provided by New Jersey State Council on the Arts / Department of State.
