New Brunswick's favorite Story Slam returns with a night of eerie encounters, unexplained mysteries, and stories that will leave you looking over your shoulder. Join us for theVOM: Ghosts, an evening of true stories told live, off the cuff, and straight from the heart.
Have you ever seen something you couldn't explain? Heard footsteps in an empty house? Felt a presence when no one was there? Maybe you've stayed in a haunted hotel, explored an abandoned place, encountered a ghost, or experienced something that still gives you chills years later.
This month's storytellers will share 5–7 minute true stories of the strange, the spooky, and the supernatural. From paranormal encounters and family ghost stories to creepy coincidences, local legends, and unexplained moments that refuse to make sense, every story is true—and every storyteller lived to tell it.
Not every ghost has to be supernatural, though. Some haunt us through memory: a person we can't forget, a place that never left us, or a moment that still lingers long after it ended. Those stories are welcome too—but this month, we're embracing the things that go bump in the night.
Expect goosebumps. Expect laughter. Expect a few nervous glances over your shoulder. Whether you're a skeptic, a believer, or somewhere in between, come ready for an unforgettable night of stories that blur the line between the ordinary and the unexplained.

A note: storyteller registration will end after we have a full line up and/or before September 13th to ensure the storyteller is set up for their best night! Storytellers will receive a confirmation email that they are eligible to tell their story between 1-3 days of their registration and then will be asked to review overview rules of the slam with our host, Dusty Ballard, via phone or zoom.
