Altered State: NJ Mythology, copresented with coLAB Arts is seeking out short films that reflect your New Jersey experience. 

Film submissions are due February 15th! QTPOC artists are strongly encouraged to apply. Selected works will be included in a hybrid film screening & drag show at coLAB Arts

Seeking work that engages with any of the following:

• The Suburbs

• Movement

• Purpose

• Pleasure

• Landscape

• Escapism

• Mundanity

• Community

• Direction

Looking for work that reflects the New Jersey experience, whatever that may mean to you.

Please submit short films (<10 min) in any genre!
QTPOC artists strongly encouraged to apply.

Selected works will be included in a hybrid film screening & drag show at coLAB Arts in New Brunswick, NJ on March 7th 2026 (NEW DATE) that will fundraise for a victim of state violence.
