Over the past several months, monument artist Chat Travieso has been in deep conversation with community stakeholders—listening to stories, insights, and hopes for a monument honoring migration and labor in Central Jersey. Drawing from these workshops and collective exchanges, Chat has developed a near-final vision for the monument.
Join us for this final Monument in the Making public workshop, where Chat will unveil the proposed design and share how community input has shaped the work. This gathering marks the last opportunity for public feedback before the monument is finalized. Your perspective is vital as we reflect, respond, and help bring this community-driven monument to its completion.

Durante los últimos meses, el artista Chat Travieso, creador de monumentos, ha mantenido un diálogo profundo con los miembros de la comunidad, escuchando historias, perspectivas e ilusiones sobre un monumento que honre la migración y el trabajo en el centro de Nueva Jersey.
