coLAB Arts engages Undergraduate, Graduate, Post-doctoral, and select High School students in various internships that connect arts, advocacy, and community. Browse the areas of interest and complete the general application below if you are interested.

All internships support students working for school credits.

Areas of Interest

Marketing

  • Assist in drafting and proofreading emails, newsletters, and other communication materials.

  • Help manage the organization's social media presence, including content creation and scheduling.

  • Ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about community building and the arts.

Research & Annotations

  • Work with coLAB Arts robust oral history and public history research archives

  • Develop Public History annotations for community engaged research work.

  • Ideal candidates are interested in independent research work.

    Internships can be in-person or entirely remote.

Outreach

  • Play a pivotal role in connecting our organization with the local community.

  • Gain hands-on experience in community outreach, event planning, and development and execution of educational programs.

  • Ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about community building, arts education, and enjoy working with diverse audiences.

Administrative

  • Gain practical experience in nonprofit arts administration.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of organization events, including art exhibitions, performances, workshops, and fundraisers.

  • Ideal for individuals interested in exploring a career in the arts, nonprofit sector, or administration.
