The Bigger Story
Our staged reading is part of a very special larger project. A group of students that call themselves the "Laramie Project Project" (LPP) Team from the School of Performing Arts Gloucester County Institute of Technology in Sewell, NJ is committed to honoring the 49 victims of the June 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting. This mighty group of students has assembled 49 organizations to conduct performances or hold staged readings of The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman and the members of the Tectonic Theater Project. Each reading is in memoriam for an individual who lost their life at the Pulse nightclub and our staged reading in Highland Park is in memoriam of Brenda Lee Marquez McCool.
