Volunteer
coLAB Arts is home to various community events and performances all year long, including, drag shows, yoga class, punk rock shows, story slams, and so much more! To successfully run all of these events and the new Heartbeat of the City Arts Festival in fall 2026 coLAB Arts hopes to build a strong volunteer base to support this work. Ways to get involved
Event Support
Event Greeter: Provide a warm and friendly welcome to guests, handing any programs.
Seat Usher: Guide attendees to appropriate seating.
Food Service: Setting up food and drinks for an event, supporting staff with food preparation and clean up.
Event Runner: Gather any last minute materials, light errands runs.
Production Volunteer: Set up / Strike ( events like Yoga classes, Drag shows, Punk Shows, Artist Mingle). Includes: bringing miscellaneous items to the drop table, moving tables and chairs, sound equipment, event decoration.
Venue MAINTENANCE
Clean-Up Day Volunteer: Painting, dusting, light sweeping, taking down decorations, resetting space.
Venue Shifting: Support moving the stage and setting up for other events.
Marketing Opportunities
Promotion: Flyering and social media promotion.
Design: Flyer/sign design.
coLAB Arts Event Tabling: Set-up, strike and outreach.
