John Marron is a zen artist, poet/ writer, life coach, father, gardener, cat & dog lover, swimmer, dancer, spoken word/ slam performer, retired RU family therapist (26 years), householder, social justice activist, Main Street HP Window Art Walk Art curator & self care/ meditation teacher/lay zen monk through Robert Aitken Roshi.
Presently, he is Chair of the Highland Park Arts Commission, member of the Windows of Understanding Social Justice Art Team, co-founder of the HP Artist Collective, Publisher of As Is/So & So Press & SF Mural Calendars, author of “Blips” & “ Oiyeau” (avant-garde poetry & flash fiction collections), member of The Wabi Sabi / Cone9colab Group, Give a Hoot Food volunteer, co-founder of the Princeton Area Zen Group & Open Circle Meditation in HP, & PT teacher at the Rutgers Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
