Join this free gathering to explore the role of the Lenape in the American Revolution and celebrate the living Lenape culture.
Thinkery & Verse will host an immersive, family-friendly event that explores Indigenous History during the American Revolution as well as celebrates Indigenous culture and life. The event will include traditional dance, tribal storytelling, a presentation led by historian Dr. John Meyer, gourd painting, pinch pot crafting, as well as a Q&A with Native American educators from the Rappahannock and Karankawa tribes. There will also be snacks and music to enjoy. This event is 100% free to the public.
